This spoken word of James Brown and Malcolm X has a lot that I’m inspired by and hope that you are to. I am inspired by this piece because it talks about using your voice to speak up and using for good use James Brown and Malcolm X both had great voices they used in a positive matter. James Brown used his voice to bring happiness to people by singing, Malcolm X used his voice to try to end segregation and have equal rights toward all so everybody could be happy. So you see they both used their voices in good ways but in different ways. That moves me because I want to be able to say things that can change peoples lives the way did. I really want to help people out that way because what if people hadn’t used their then what would life be like, or what if people used their voice the same way Hitler did how would that effect us today. So I hope that the piece really speaks to people the same way it spoke to me.
